Job Description
Onsite Rental Group PTY Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader in our Mechanical Workshop located in Derrimut VIC, under the department of Melbourne West.
As the Team Leader - Mechanical Workshop, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical technicians in delivering high-quality service and maintenance of equipment. Your main tasks will include:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mechanical workshop
technical guidance and support to the team
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Coordinating work schedules and assignments for workshop staff
Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
Participating in recruitment and training activities for new workshop staff
Maintaining inventory levels and ordering necessary parts and supplies
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices

Along with sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills, our ideal candidate will have:
A mechanical trade qualification
Experience in leading teams (either directly or indirectly) and managing service demand
Sound planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to problem solve and be flexible
Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage cost in line with budgets
