About the role

Onsite Rental Group are seeking an enterprising Account Manager to join our team in Silverwater, NSW

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your main tasks will include:

  • Pro-actively partner with customers to understand their operations & business needs to identify suitable equipment rental solutions & opportunities to add value
  • Develop & maintain strong industry networks & relationships to support sales opportunities
  • Assist in annual revenue & capital expenditure budgets & prepare both routine and ad hoc sales reports & forecasts
  • Perform market research to identify new or enhanced sales opportunities using relevant market data
  • Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions
  • Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
  • Maintain accurate client data in CRM system

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Sales experience in hire/capital equipment/industrial or related industry
  • Ability & willingness to cold call, in person & by phone
  • Record of success in attracting & retaining new business
  • Capacity to work safely & autonomously in the field
  • Resilience & the ability to overcome obstacles & find solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution & relationship building skills
