Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Long Term Forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) 
  • Monthly consolidation and balance sheet preparation and submission including assisting with Group consolidation adjustment control (includes Group Fixed Asset Register entries, Group AASB 16 Reporting and Intangible amortisation)
  • Preparing budgeted cashflow and balance sheet
  • Preparation and submission of Growth capex and Maintenance capex applications to the Board as required 
  • Assist with preparation of the annual financial statements and maintaining accounting policies
  • Assist with Accounting Paper preparation as required
  • Assisting with auditors at interim and financial year end audits
  • Ownership of Group accounting, including TB uploads, monthly journals, maintenance of working files
  • Assist with the Fixed Asset Reconciliation review as well as AASB16 lease monthly reconciliation review

  • Chartered Accountant or relevant financial degree 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Organised and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of Accounting Standards
  • Experience with Financial statement preparation
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with multi-level relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build successful working relationships
  • Strong computer literacy including demonstratable proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas eg Xlookup, SUMIFs, INDEX, MATCH, pivots, Power BI
