Job Description

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Yardperson to join our team in Wingfield, SA.

Reporting to our Team Leader, you will:

  • Load and unload fleet from vehicles, always ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures are adhered to
  • Clean and prepare fleet & equipment ready for hire
  • Inspect fleet upon return and immediately report any customer fleet damage
  • Assist with basic maintenance of non high-risk fleet & equipment
  • Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed and submitted
  • Assist in maintaining effective stock control of fleet including assisting in stocktakes and the asset disposal process

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and Experience 

  • Forklift licence (essential)
  • EWP licence (highly regarded)
  • Current driver's licence
  • Experience in loading and unloading of equipment 
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated with a positive attitude towards workplace safety
